Support Our Community: Host a Food Drive!
While “Food Drive Season” runs from October through January, the need for food exists year-round. Hosting a food drive is a meaningful way to support our community, and it’s easier than you might think!
Creative Ways to Host a Food Drive
- Place a donation barrel in your business or community space.
- Offer discounts or incentives for customers who donate food.
- Use food donations as an entry fee or discount for events.
- Partner with a grocery store to collect donations (with the store’s permission).
- Trick-or-Treat for canned goods—hand out flyers in advance so neighbors can prepare.
- Organize a church or community food drive.
- Get creative and find a collection method that works for you!
Whether you organize everything yourself or coordinate with us for extra support, your efforts make a huge difference.
How We Can Help
We’re here to make your food drive a success:
- Barrels (limited) and boxes (unlimited) available for collecting donations.
- Guidelines on the foods we need most.
- Templates for flyers or social media posts to promote your drive.
- Promotion on our social media channels to increase awareness of your event.
