Best Non-Profit Providing Services in Lynnwood, WA

We are honored to share that Lynnwood Food Bank was recognized as Best Nonprofit for Providing Services in Lynnwood by the Lynnwood Chamber of Commerce., for the second year in a row (2025, 2026).

Over the past several years, our community has come together to expand access to nutritious and culturally relevant foods, grow nutrition education programs, and serve more neighbors than ever before. Last year alone, we served almost 192,000 individuals, reflecting both the growing need in our community and the incredible dedication of the people who make this work possible.

This recognition truly belongs to our amazing volunteers who give their time, skills, and heart every week—sorting food, stocking shelves, preparing produce, and helping families shop for groceries with dignity and respect.

We are deeply grateful to the Chamber for this honor and to our volunteers, partners, and supporters who continue to help us build a healthier, more connected community.

Food is love. Food is health. Food is culture. Food is community.

Women's History Month

On March 9, 2026, our Executive Director Alissa Jones had the honor of accepting a Women’s History Month Proclamation from the Lynnwood City Council.

Alissa accepted the proclamation alongside many other women leaders in our community, recognizing the leadership, service, and contributions of women who help make Lynnwood a stronger and more compassionate place for everyone.

At the Lynnwood Food Bank, we are especially grateful for the incredible women who help make our work possible every day—our staff, volunteers, partners, and community members who show up with compassion, dedication, and strength.

Their work reminds us that building a healthier, more equitable community takes all of us working together.

Food is love. Food is health. Food is culture. Food is community.
