Our Mission in Action: Values That Drive Us Forward

As we work to fulfill our mission each week, these priorities—rooted in our core values—guide us in improving the lives of our neighbors.

Addressing Racism as a Root Cause of Food Insecurity

We acknowledge that systemic racism underpins many instances of food insecurity. To serve our diverse community better, we are committed to:

  • Expanding culturally specific outreach.
  • Offering culturally traditional foods.
  • Providing multilingual resources.
  • Constantly improving our inclusivity and accessibility.

Tackling Health Disparities

We recognize that socio-economic and racial inequities lead to significant health disparities. To help address this, we provide:

  • Nutritious food options.
  • Culturally relevant food choices.
  • Accessible, multilingual nutrition education to promote health equity.

A Vision Beyond Food Banks

In a just world, food banks would not exist. Until that vision becomes reality, we remain steadfast in serving our community with compassion, dedication, and the power of collective support.
