Mission Statement

Our mission is to assist people who are hungry in the City of Lynnwood and South Snohomish County by providing a highly efficient food distribution center.

The Lynnwood Food Bank is a private nonprofit 501(C)3 organization that collects and distributes more than three million pounds of food each year to low-income children, adults and seniors. The Food Bank currently serves an average over 3,000 households and over 10,500 individuals per month.

Our Vision

As we fulfill our mission on a weekly basis, we have identified secondary priorities that we include in our values and utilize to improve the lives of our neighbors.

We recognize that racism is a root cause of food insecurity and strive to improve our services with culturally specific outreach, culturally traditional foods, additional languages and more, to better serve our diverse community.

We recognize that a health disparity exists on socio-economic and racial lines. With more nutritious foods, cultural foods, and nutrition education available in multiple languages, we can make a small difference in the lives and health of our community.

The ideal situation would be that food banks are not needed. However, until that happens, we will be here, and we will continue to serve our community to the best of our ability with your support.
